A character name such as Mis Uszatek makes me think about the comfort of a familiar story. Children can return to the same scene and notice a different feeling or ask another question each time. That is the connection I see with Mis Uszatek children’s stories. I like reading that leaves room for the child’s own observations instead of rushing toward a lesson. A repeated story can still produce a new conversation when someone takes the time to listen to what caught their attention.
